I was invited to check out "San Jose's Best Water Park" this summer and it is definitely a place to check out before the summer ends. The parks newest addition is Sidewinder - the world's first inside-outside duel twisting matt race slide. The park is home to some of the Bay's favorite water slides, such as Barracuda Blaster, Bombs Away, Great White Shark, and the activity pools. There is a wide variety of attractions for everyone to enjoy as well as entertainment to keep guests busy. *CLICK HERE for a special discount to Raging Waters San Jose* Some of my pictures have appeared in social media pages or articles without credit. For guests who want to relax and enjoy the sun, there are a few couple stands that sell (DOLE WHIP!!!!) ice cream as well as, the famously known, Dip-n-Dots. There are various shops, changing rooms, ATMs, and dining options for guests to enjoy without the trouble of leaving the park. PARK TIP: A common rule at parks is that there is absolutely NO outside food allowed! Rides & Slides Serpentine Slides Pick your favorite or take your chance on all three slides, the Cobra, Viper or Python. Twist and turn your way down seven stories into a watery splash. Shotgun Falls Thrill seekers free fall down one of two slides, dropping into a 10-foot pool of water. White Lightning/Blue Thunder Riders bolt through an electrifying 60-feet of twists and turns sliding straight into the pool below. Great White Shark Slide through a watery, winding journey in an inner tube made for two. You'll be swallowed by a Great White Shark and sent splashing down into the Lazy River. Sidewinder Grab 3 friends and race down the FIRST inside-outside duel twisting, head first quad racer. Dragon's Den You'll catapult through mysterious darkness and then plummet into the mist-shrouded abyss of the dragon… only to vanish from sight. Barracuda Blaster Grab 2 friends and barrel down 500 feet of splashy twists and turns ending in a plunge into the pool below. Bombs Away Step into an enclosed capsule high in the sky. The door is sealed and the trap floor drops from beneath your feet - plummeting into free-falling thrills through an enclosed inverted looping flume for over 200 feet. Waves, Pools & Rivers Activity Pool An interactive water play area for the entire family. Explore waterfalls, slide down the gang slides and climb across an alligator's back. Endless River (Lazy River) Enjoy a relaxing journey floating down the river through waterfalls and streams. Pirate's Cove Climb cargo nets and shoot water cannons in this interactive water play structure complete with a 40 foot mast topped with a water spilling pirate's skull. Wave Pool Ride the swells and white caps in a tube, or body surf the day away in our 350,000 -gallon Wave Pool. The pool simulates true tidal movement and multiple wave patterns, fun for the entire family. Little Dipper Kids have fun in their own bubble pool, complete with junior gang slides and a waterfall.
